Privacy Policy
ScreenForge is designed as a browser-native, local-first screen recording tool. Recordings are created in your browser using supported browser capture APIs.
Local Recording
ScreenForge does not require an account and does not upload your recordings to a ScreenForge server. Finished recordings are made available locally in your browser session for download.
Permissions
Your browser may ask for permission to access your screen, microphone, camera, or tab audio depending on the capture mode you choose. These permissions are controlled by your browser.
Session Data
Recordings listed in the session history are temporary browser-session items. Refreshing or closing the page may remove access to those temporary download links.
Analytics and Advertising
If analytics or advertising services are added in the future, they may collect standard usage and device information according to their own privacy policies. ScreenForge should not be used to record sensitive information unless you understand your browser and sharing settings.
